Biography: Thomas Graziano, a native of Long Island, New York, received his double major B.A. in Business Administration and Management and Finance, followed by an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Florida Atlantic University.
In February 2007, Tom joined Florida Atlantic University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science as a Senior Fiscal Assistant for the Ocean Engineering SeaTech campus in Dania Beach. In 2009, he went on to become the Budget Coordinator for the same department. He coordinated grant and department budgets, handled GrantsERA proposal input and submission for sponsor’s such as DOE, NSF, FLDOT, NIH and more, among other duties for the department. Shortly after becoming Budget Coordinator, Ocean Engineering merged with Mechanical Engineering. Tom’s role expanded to cover both departments on the Dania Beach and Boca campuses.
In March 2016, Tom was hired as the Director of Administrative Operations for the Florida Atlantic University Brain Institute. Tom has overseen all of the institute's administrative functions from its launch, including human resources, budgeting, grant submissions and more.
